A Much Needed Wash Day…
I’m forcing myself to get back into a more regular routine of washing my hair. My biggest hump is detangling, so I found a simple DIY Detangler recipe from Youtube Vlogger, AlopeciaFreeWithJass to help conquer my kinks.
I used about…
- 1 cup of Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 cup of Coconut Oil
- 1-2 Cups of Water
When detangling I usually divide my hair into 4 sections. If needed, I part each of those sections into 2 smaller sections. This makes 8 sections total. Once my hair is completely detangled, I rinse it and begin a Hot Oil Treatment. My oil of choice is Africa’s Best Ultimate Herbal Oil.

I used my new Hot Head Thermal Haircare cap for penetration. I rinsed out the oil and shampooed my hair with, Kurlee Belle Almond & Shea Butter Moisturizing Shampoo. I followed up with Garnier Whole Blends Avocado Oil & Shea Butter Conditioner. After rinsing, I used the LCO Method instead of the LOC Method. I did a few two-strand twists and let my hair air-dry.
