Operation ‘Find My Edges’: Vicks VapoRub…

I need some more edges. I have a few, but thanks to this unnecessary evil known as Lupus , they’re not as plentiful as I would like. I’m tired of the tapered look. Can I get some braids? Dang!

So… I have a little over 1000 items bookmarked to my ‘Saved’ list on Facebook. While browsing and deleting several articles, I found a post from Essence about women using Vicks Vaporub for hair growth. This isn’t my first time hearing of this method. The use of yeast infection cream such as Monistat has been mentioned in the ratchet depths of Innanet Hell as well, but that’s for another day.

There is a six-part series on Youtube from Vlogger, ‘SonyaBeOnIt’ showing her technique of using the rub on her daughter’s hair. I guess I’ll try it out while adding some additional ingredients. I’m going to keep track of my progress and post updates over time. I think I’ll start off with a 30-60 day trial and treat my scalp every 2 weeks. More to come…
