I’m Chavantay Howard. I’ve been natural since 2010. In 2012, I moved from my home state of Mississippi to Atlanta, GA to attend college. In 2013, I decided to take my natural hair journey more seriously and that’s when CTN came about. The blog is formerly known as CatchTheezNappz.com.
It’s currently CTNOfficial.com. I might change it back, since Squarespace finally released the original domain and I was able to buy it back. *sigh* Another story for another day. I studied Digital Filmmaking and Video Production during my time at The Art Institute of Atlanta. I was able to manage blogging and school for a while, but as time progressed the latter became more demanding.
So, I made the cost-effective decision to put CTN on the back-burner until I graduated. I completed school in 2015. I am a Lupus Survivor, so I used 2016 as time to recover from a few flares I suffered from.
Of course, Most of 2017 has been focused on rebranding Catch Theez Nappz and some other endeavors. And now I’m back like I never left.
Apparently the third time’s a charm. Once again, I’m back like I never left.
