3 Ways to Lighten Your Armpits…

The previous post was about detoxifying your armpits. We might as well keep the party jumping and share how to lighten those underarms. I haven’t had an issue with dark armpits, but this could be useful information for those who do have this problem. Popular Youtube vlogger, ‘BeautifulBrwnBabyDolhas shared 3 recipes you can use to treat any dark areas underneath. She also goes into depth about which items she uses to shave, exfoliate, and other hygiene tips. (watch here…)

The dancing potato will lead you to each recipe.

Potato Paste:

  • BBBD rubs a few potato slices underneath each arm and sits for 10-15 minutes until moist.

*If I were to use this recipe I would puree the potato and spread the paste on my pits instead.

  • Once the time is up, rinse with lukewarm water.

*Natural bleaching agent that doesn’t irritate the skin.

 

 

Chick Pea Paste:

  • Besan (Chick Pea Flour) – 2 tbs
  • Greek Yogurt – 1 tbs
  • Lemon Juice – as desired
  • Turmeric – as desired

Mix ingredients. Apply. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse. Use up to 3 times a week.

 

 

Cucumber Paste:

  • Cucumber
  • Turmeric
  • Lemon Juice

Puree ingredients. Apply. Let it sit for 30 minutes. Rinse.
